Molecules: The smallest particle of an element or compound which is capable of independent existence and shows all the properties of that substance is called a molecule. In general, molecule is a group of two or more atoms that are chemically bonded together. Atoms of the same element or of different elements can join together to form molecules.
Molecules can be divided into two categories:
Molecules of Elements: The molecules of an element contain same type of atoms. Molecules of many elements are made up of one atom of that element.
Illustration: Noble gases like argon , helium
etc.
The molecules of most of the non-metals are made up of more than one atom.
Illustration: A molecule of oxygen consists of two atoms of oxygen and is known as diatomic molecule, Ozone
consists of three atoms of oxygen.
Molecules of Compounds: Atoms of different elements join together in definite proportions to form molecules of compounds.
E.g. molecule is made up of hydrogen and oxygen elements in the ratio of 1:8 by mass.
Prediction of Number of Atoms from Mass Ratio: In order to predict the number of atoms from mass ratio, divide the given mass of each element by the atomic mass of the element and calculate the simplest ratio between the obtained moles.
Example: We know that mass ratio of nitrogen and hydrogen in ammonia molecule is 14: 3. As we can see in the picture ammonia molecule is consists fo one N and three H-atoms are present hence, the formula of ammonia is .

I have spent a wonderful time in Abhyas academy. It has made my reasoning more apt, English more stronger and Maths an interesting subject for me. It has given me a habbit of self studying
A marvelous experience with Abhyas. I am glad to share that my ward has achieved more than enough at the Ambala ABHYAS centre. Years have passed on and more and more he has gained. May the centre flourish and develop day by day by the grace of God.
It was a good experience with Abhyas Academy. I even faced problems in starting but slowly and steadily overcomed. Especially reasoning classes helped me a lot.
It was good as the experience because as we had come here we had been improved in a such envirnment created here.Extra is taught which is beneficial for future.
My experience was very good with Abhyas academy. I am studying here from 6th class and I am satisfied by its results in my life. I improved a lot here ahead of school syllabus.
It has a great methodology. Students here can get analysis to their test quickly. We can learn easily through PPTs and the testing methods are good. We know that where we have to practice
Abhyas is a complete education Institute. Here extreme care is taken by teacher with the help of regular exam. Extra classes also conducted by the institute, if the student is weak.
My experience with Abhyas academy is very good. I did not think that my every subject coming here will be so strong. The main thing is that the online tests had made me learn here more things.
Abhyas Methodology is very good. It is based on according to student and each child manages accordingly to its properly. Methodology has improved the abilities of students to shine them in future.
One of the best institutes to develope a child interest in studies.Provides SST and English knowledge also unlike other institutes. Teachers are co operative and friendly online tests andPPT develope practical knowledge also.
